Completion of Gurye Integrated Harmony Center and Gunmin Square

Total Floor Area 2,831㎡, 1 Basement Floor and 4 Above-Ground Floors

Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it completed the construction of the Integrated Harmony Center and the Citizens' Plaza on the 17th and held a completion ceremony.

The completion ceremony began with a pre-performance by the Gurye Jwado Nongak Association and was attended by about 150 residents along with key guests including Kim Sun-ho, Governor of Gurye-gun, Yoo Si-moon, Chairman of the County Council, and Lee Hyun-chang, Provincial Assembly member.

The newly completed Integrated Harmony Center was built as part of the general neighborhood-type urban regeneration project selected in 2019.

The county invested a total project cost of 8 billion KRW to construct the Integrated Harmony Center at 73-9 Bongseong-ro, Gurye-eup, Gurye-gun, with a total floor area of 2,831㎡, consisting of one basement floor and four above-ground floors.

On the first floor, the Gurye-eup Office relocated on the 15th and began providing administrative services. The second and third floors house a multipurpose conference room, an agricultural counseling office, and a multipurpose auditorium, respectively, while the fourth floor is equipped with cultural and health classrooms.

Additionally, the county invested 6.5 billion KRW in regional development projects to create an underground parking lot with 62 spaces and the Citizens' Plaza. The Citizens' Plaza will be used as a venue for various cultural events and festivals in the future.

Governor Kim Sun-ho said, "With this project, residents can enjoy various public services such as administration, culture, and education in a more comfortable environment all in one place," adding, "We will continue to do our best to improve residents' living conditions and convenience."
