Up to 1.5 Million KRW Support for Housing Stability and Settlement Assistance
Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting applicants for the '2024 Youth Monthly Rent Support Project,' which aims to alleviate the housing cost burden for youth and improve living conditions to help them settle in the region, from the 18th to the 30th, for a period of 13 days.
This year, 37 applicants will be selected by the end of May through screening, and each household will receive up to 150,000 KRW per month for 10 months.
▲ Applicants must be heads of households aged between 19 and 45 as of the announcement date, residing in Geochang-gun ▲ Household income must be between 60% and 150% of the median income ▲ The rental deposit must be 100 million KRW or less, and the monthly rent must be 600,000 KRW or less to be eligible for support.
However, overlapping support with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Youth Monthly Rent Temporary Special Support Project is not allowed. Homeowners, tenants renting from direct ascendants, basic livelihood security recipients, government and local government officials, and participants in government or local government youth housing support projects are excluded from eligibility.
Applications can be submitted online through the Gyeongnam Baro Service or by visiting the Population Education Division. Detailed information is available on the county office or Geochang Youth Sai website, and inquiries can be directed to the Youth Policy Officer at the Population Education Division.
