A famous rapper who took methamphetamine and turned himself in to the police has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 18th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that rapper A (30) was sent to the prosecution without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
On January 19 at around 8:40 a.m., A told a police officer working near the Seoul Regional Veterans Office in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, "I want to confess to drug use."
The police judged that A's incoherent state was serious, sent him to a nearby police station for protection, and continued the investigation without detention.
In a detailed analysis by the National Forensic Service, A tested positive for methamphetamine.
