Flea Market and Upcycling Experience Events Offered
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the environmental challenge event "Hwaseong-si Family Pumasi Fantasy Market" in the yard in front of the U&AI Center on the 20th, in celebration of Earth Day (22nd), for future generations.
This event aims to promote resource-sharing lifestyles and make ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management easy to practice at the family level. It is held for participants of the Hwaseong-type Aikiumteo Family Pumasi program and the general public.
The event will feature ▲a family flea market ▲sharing of food without disposable items ▲upcycling experiences using waste plastic and coffee grounds. Additionally, various programs such as ▲a playground zone including rail trains ▲environment-themed experience booths ▲family caricature drawing ▲magic shows will be operated.
Meanwhile, Hwaseong City operates 11 Hwaseong-type Aikiumteo shared childcare centers, which are communal childcare sharing spaces available to any Hwaseong citizen raising children under 12 years old. Hwaseong-type Aikiumteo is an open community space designed to share various information about child-rearing and to reduce childcare burdens by utilizing local community resources.
