Gochang-gun Provides Incentives Worth 15 Million KRW to Affordable Price Businesses

Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 18th that it provided incentives worth 15 million KRW for the first half of the year to 25 Good Price Businesses that have been contributing to stabilizing local prices.

For the food service industry, customized items worth about 600,000 KRW per business, such as volume-based waste bags, food waste chips, and napkins, and for the beauty industry, professional scissors, hair dryers, and clippers were provided to reduce the burden on businesses maintaining good prices.

In addition, public officials are voluntarily participating in price stabilization by operating a Good Price Business Usage Day once a month by department.

Furthermore, promotional materials containing menus and price information for each business are placed at various festival sites and tourist attractions to help promote the use of Good Price Businesses.

The county is expanding and operating application acceptance once per quarter to increase the designation of Good Price Businesses.

As a result of the first quarter application acceptance, six new food service businesses were designated in May, including Jeongwon, Soldam Bread, Dobongsan Galbi, Borane Gamjatang, TV Hanbeondo Annaon Jip, and Seolgane Hansik Buffet.

These businesses will receive Good Price Business plaques and menus, and incentives will be provided starting from the second half of the year.

Hwang Min-an, Director of the New Vitality Economic Policy Office of Gochang-gun, said, “We will expand incentive support that can provide practical help to businesses designated as Good Price Businesses and strengthen support and promotion so that customers can enjoy high-quality services.”
