Hyundai Mobis Launches Aggressive Sales at Beijing Motor Show... 80 Pre-Invited Companies

Hyundai Mobis is launching an aggressive sales campaign at the Beijing Motor Show, the largest automobile exhibition in China. Over 80 companies, including BYD, Geely Automobile, Volkswagen, and Stellantis, have been pre-invited to the private booth operated during the motor show.

Hyundai Mobis announced on the 18th that it will participate in '2024 Auto China,' held in Beijing, China, from the 25th of this month to the 4th of next month.

Following last year's Shanghai Motor Show, Hyundai Mobis is accelerating its local sales efforts by participating consecutively in this year's Beijing Motor Show. In particular, to focus on sales to client companies, the exhibition will be centered on a 'private booth' exclusively for pre-invited companies. The number of pre-invited companies reaches over 80, with about 470 attendees.

At this motor show, Hyundai Mobis plans to discuss business cooperation plans focusing on high value-added core products in the future car sector. To this end, it will showcase 14 types of mass-producible core technologies. Representative technologies include the swivel (variable) display and transparent display, both developed first in the world by Hyundai Mobis, augmented reality head-up display (AR HUD), independent rear-wheel steering system, and next-generation active noise reduction technology (ARNC). Hyundai Mobis intends to emphasize technological differentiation with local parts suppliers through next-generation high-spec, high value-added core products in the rapidly growing Chinese automobile market.

In particular, Hyundai Mobis has prepared an exhibition space in an outdoor area right next to the complete vehicle hall, rather than the parts hall, to expand contact points with client companies and conduct aggressive sales activities. By securing exhibition and individual meeting spaces adjacent to local and global complete vehicle manufacturers, the strategy is to actively strengthen networks not only with existing clients but also with potential customers.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Mobis is operating local bases centered on its dedicated China business organization and is continuously pursuing business efficiency. To expand customer networks in the closed Chinese automobile market and strengthen strategic order activities, it plans to focus capabilities on all areas specialized for the local market, from product planning and development to order acquisition and mass production.
