Chairman Ryu joined the challenge upon the nomination of Nam Tae-heon, President of the Korea Forest Welfare Promotion Institute. He nominated Jeon Beom-gwon, Director of the Korea Mountaineering Trekking Support Center, Cho Do-sun, Director of the National Institute of Ecology, and Kim Young-shin, President of the Small and Medium Business Technology Information Promotion Agency, as the next participants to continue the challenge.

Chairman Ryu stated, “All KNA employees will participate in minimizing plastic use and increasing the use of eco-friendly products,” adding, “We will strive to create an environment where KNA can contribute to carbon neutrality through this challenge.”

Meanwhile, to practice ESG values, KNA is conducting its own campaigns called ‘Values Practiced at Work (E)’, including ▲carbon neutrality education ▲creating green offices ▲driving electric vehicles ▲operating eco-friendly events.

Additionally, to reduce the use of disposable pots, KNA registered a patent for reusable pots and has been lending them free of charge to 19 public and private arboretums, thereby reducing the use of over 1.01 million disposable pots.
