The ‘2024 Convergence Technology Symposium (ConTech 2024)’, hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Next-Generation Convergence Technology Institute, will be held on the 22nd and 23rd at the Education Cooperation Building of Seoul National University Siheung Campus.
This symposium, themed ‘RE100 and Advanced Environmental Monitoring,’ invites domestic and international experts actively working in various fields to share the latest research results and discuss solutions together with industry professionals, academic researchers, technology developers, and university students.
The event will feature a keynote speech by Kim Young-jun, the 6th former president of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, on the topic of ‘Current Status of Air Environment Measurement Technology Development,’ and will proceed with four sessions.
The four sessions are ▲ Gyeonggi RE100 and Environmental Science Measurement Technology ▲ LiDAR Measurement and Utilization in Domestic and International Applied Fields ▲ Aerosol LiDAR Measurement and Applications ▲ Remote Sensing and Gas Measurement.
Cha Seong-su, Director of the Climate Environment and Energy Bureau of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Active utilization of advanced technology is necessary to solve climate and environmental issues," and added, "Through this symposium, we plan to contribute to international cooperation and network expansion in the environmental technology field."
