Gyeongnam Nonghyup Holds 'Buulkyung Gas Station Council Regular General Meeting'

On the 17th, Gyeongnam Nonghyup held the '2024 Bu-Ul-Gyeong Gas Station Council Regular General Meeting' at the Gyeongnam Headquarters conference room, attended by about 40 gas station operation cooperative heads.

At this regular general meeting, agenda items for actively responding to market changes and revitalizing the Nonghyup gas station business, including the review of last year's business settlement and the 2024 business plan, were deliberated and approved.

As part of measures for continuous growth in the fuel business, discussions were held on expanding participation in the electric vehicle charger market, which has grown by more than 60% over the past three years, and promoting renewable energy projects such as expanding solar power infrastructure to practice RE100.

Hwang Il-hyun, chairman of the council, said, "With the rapid increase of eco-friendly vehicles and the slowdown in fuel consumption, price competition among gas stations is intensifying," adding, "The Nonghyup gas station business must also respond quickly and actively to market changes."

Kang Moon-kyu, deputy head of the headquarters, said, "The Nonghyup gas station business is an essential project to support farming, such as supplying tax-free fuel to farmers," and added, "Although the overall fuel business is facing difficulties due to recent price increases, we hope you will do your best to facilitate farmers during the farming season."
