Korea Toyota Motor Corporation announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Paralympic Committee to sponsor the national team participating in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.
Toyota has been a main sponsor of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) since 2015. Domestically, it began supporting the Korea Para Table Tennis Association in 2017 and signed an agreement with the Korea Paralympic Committee last year to help promote sports for people with disabilities.
The signing ceremony was attended by Manabu Konyama, President of Korea Toyota Motor Corporation, and Jinwan Jeong, President of the Korea Paralympic Committee, among others. President Manabu Konyama said, "This sponsorship is part of Toyota's value of 'Mobility for All,'" adding, "We will continue to do our best to support the improvement of athletic performance for athletes with disabilities together with the Korea Paralympic Committee."
