Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) will hold an online seminar (webinar) with the Port of Barcelona on the 25th at 3:30 PM Korea time, targeting Korean export companies wishing to enter the Southern European market, enabling real-time communication.
In 2021, BPA established a local joint venture, 'B2B Logistics Busan Barcelona Hub,' with the Port of Barcelona and is currently operating a logistics center in the hinterland of the Port of Barcelona.
Through this online seminar, BPA plans to provide information to Korean companies on entering the Southern European market via the Port of Barcelona.
The online seminar will cover ▲advantages of using the Port of Barcelona and the Barcelona logistics center ▲Spain and Barcelona value-added tax and customs procedures ▲cases of Korean export companies using the Port of Barcelona.
Presenters at the seminar include Shin Jin-seon, head of BPA's Netherlands office; Carles Mayol, head of the container division at the Port of Barcelona; Jordi Torrent, director at the Port of Barcelona; and lawyer Carmen Caro. Mihee Seo, representative consultant of OASTA Consulting, a Korean market advisor for the Port of Barcelona, will serve as the moderator and chairperson.
