"Kids Won't Learn Anything"... Parents Protest Teacher Posting Travel Photos with Boyfriend

A, a middle school teacher, recently posted photos taken with her boyfriend during a trip to Jeju Island on her SNS. The photos were ordinary, showing her hugging her boyfriend on a street lined with cherry blossoms, with no revealing content. However, shortly after posting, A received a phone call from a parent of one of her students. The parent said things like, "Kids might see this, so why post something inappropriate?" and "You get paid with our taxes, and this is all you can do?" demanding that she delete the photos.

The parent also scolded A, saying, "The kids are going through puberty and are very curious; isn't this too much?" and "What will the kids learn from seeing this?" Moreover, A was even summoned to the principal's office over the incident. It appears the parent also filed a complaint with the school. Fortunately, the principal comforted her by saying, "There are always people like that, so please understand. I will talk to the parent," and offered support.

Feeling somewhat baffled by the situation, A eventually switched her SNS account to private. She lamented, "I should separate my personal phone from my work phone." Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "How will the school handle this with concern for the kids?", "This is really extreme," and "I'm worried about the future of our country because of kids growing up under such parents."
