There is a claim that the suspect who installed an illegal filming camera in musical actress Kim Hwan-hee's (33) waiting room is a current idol group manager.
Sports Seoul reported on the 16th that Manager A, affiliated with a certain agency who installed the illegal camera in Kim Hwan-hee's waiting room, was recently fired. The media stated that the agency immediately dismissed Manager A after learning of the incident and that the affiliated artists are not involved in the case.
Earlier, on the 9th, Kim Hwan-hee discovered the illegal camera while waiting in the waiting room on the 6th floor of the Gwanglim Art Center building in Seoul for the musical 'Next to Normal' and reported it to the Gangnam Police Station.
Kim Hwan-hee's agency, Blue Stage, said on the 16th, "There was a recent incident where Kim Hwan-hee found an illegal camera in the dressing room and reported it," emphasizing, "The musical theater dressing room is not just a simple waiting space."
The agency added, "It is a space where performers wait until the show starts, change into stage costumes, and shower after the performance. Installing an illegal camera in such a space is a clear criminal act and an unacceptable disgraceful incident, and an investigation is currently underway."
Regarding Kim Hwan-hee, they added, "To allow for recovery in daily life, she will not be conducting post-performance departures for the time being until further notice."
Meanwhile, Kim Hwan-hee debuted in 2015 with the musical 'Fantasia' and has gained public recognition through outstanding performances in well-known works such as 'A Starry Night,' 'The Disgusting Life of Matsuko,' 'Big Fish,' 'Kinky Boots,' and 'Rent.'
