Male Jumping Incident at Hangang Bridge Causes Severe Traffic Congestion During Morning Commute

An unidentified man climbed onto the Hangang Bridge and caused a disturbance, leading to traffic control and severe congestion during the morning commute.

According to the fire department and police, a report was received around 5:50 a.m. on the 17th that a man had climbed onto the Hangang Bridge.

Police who responded to the report are cooperating with the fire department to persuade the man to come down from the bridge.

According to the Seoul Transportation Information System (TOPIS), due to this incident, 2 to 4 lanes are partially closed from the northern intersection to the southern intersection of Hangang Bridge, causing severe congestion on the bridge during the morning commute.
