The National Intelligence Service urged that if you receive an email attachment titled 'Cybercrime Investigation Report' impersonating the NIS Director, do not open it and report it to 111.
An email sent under the name of the National Intelligence Service with the subject 'Police Report' included an attachment called 'Cybercrime Investigation Report.' It is known to contain content stating that the recipient is involved in a crime related to obscene materials.
It has been confirmed that the attachment does not contain malware that attacks the recipient's computer.
The NIS emphasized, "Under no circumstances do we send emails notifying ordinary individuals of crimes or prosecution matters."
