Nowon-gu District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends Disability Awareness Improvement Training for Staff on the 16th

On the 16th at 3 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended a disability awareness improvement training session held for all employees in the main auditorium of Nowon District Office.

The district is conducting various events and educational programs in celebration of the 44th Disability Day.

This disability awareness improvement training featured writer Jung Eun-hye, who gained public recognition as the older sister of Han Ji-min's character in the drama "Our Blues."

Jung Eun-hye, who is both a person with developmental disabilities and an artist, gave a lecture to all employees of the district office and its affiliated organizations on the theme of communicating with the world through art and embracing prejudice.

The lecture was held twice, at 10 AM and 3 PM, with a live broadcast on YouTube. Additionally, an exhibition of Jung Eun-hye's artwork was held in the hallway on the second floor of the district office.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, "There are new perspectives when looking at the world through the eyes of people with disabilities," and added, "I hope this lecture will serve as an opportunity to clarify the direction our district administration aims to pursue."
