Appointment of the 9th Guro Orinnara Committee

Guro-gu to Hold the 9th Guro Children's Country Appointment Ceremony and Orientation on the 16th

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) held the 9th Guro Eorinara Committee Appointment Ceremony and Orientation on the 16th at the auditorium on the 5th floor of the district office.

At the event, Mayor Moon Heon-il attended and presented appointment letters to 79 members of the 9th Guro Eorinara Committee. Afterwards, the 8th term president, committee members, and citizens conducted an orientation including an introduction to Eorinara, guidance on activities by committee, and a Q&A session.

Mayor Moon Heon-il of Guro-gu said, "Eorinara is a place where children can voice their opinions on Guro-gu policy operations," adding, "I hope children create a happy country where they are respected through an open mindset and free expression of opinions."

Guro Eorinara is a social participation program where children create and operate an imaginary country using their imagination and creativity, allowing them to learn about living democracy. It was first established in Guro-gu in 2016 as the nation's first program of its kind and is now in its 9th term.
