Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, will screen performances from the Seoul Arts Center on a 553-inch LED display (Yeonsu Dream Canvas) installed in the lobby of the government building starting this month.
The district was selected for the 'SAC on Screen' project and plans to showcase two selected outstanding performance and exhibition content videos to residents every month starting from the 18th.
'SAC on Screen' is a program that allows viewers to experience high-quality performances such as plays, music, opera, ballet, and contemporary dance staged at the Seoul Arts Center in vivid, high-definition video. Since 2013, the Seoul Arts Center has been recording excellent performances recognized for their artistic and creative value to deliver the excitement of live performances to local communities, aiming to bridge cultural gaps between regions.

The district has designated the third Thursday and fourth Saturday of each month as screening days until October, offering a total of 14 works free of charge at 7 p.m. on Thursdays and 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Starting with the play 'Two-Wheeled Bicycle' at 7 p.m. on the 18th and the ballet 'Giselle' at 4 p.m. on the 27th, the district will prepare a comfortable environment for residents to enjoy the screenings.

An official from Yeonsu-gu stated, "Residents can experience the high-quality performances of the Seoul Arts Center, which are difficult to access without attending in person, right here in the community. We will continue to attract various cultural and artistic performances to the area to expand residents' opportunities to enjoy culture."
Meanwhile, last year Yeonsu-gu became the first basic local government in Incheon to install a 553-inch large high-definition LED 'Yeonsu Dream Canvas' in the Songjukwon lobby of the district office, broadcasting various district promotional videos, media art, and Friday movie screenings.
