Muan-gun Holds Medical Field Executive Meeting at New Health Center Building

Discussion on Inspection of Health Center New Building and Measures to Address Medical Service Gaps

Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 16th that a medical field executive meeting was held at the new health center building with the attendance of heads of departments, divisions, and sections, as well as the heads of 9 towns and townships.

This executive meeting sought measures to address the disruption in medical services caused by the recent medical strike, along with an inspection of the newly relocated health center facilities, which moved on the 1st of this month.

Governor Kim San urged, "Please take measures so that residents can use medical facilities more comfortably with the relocation of the health center, and make efforts to ensure there is no gap in medical services."

Meanwhile, the Muan-gun Health Center was constructed with a total project cost of 27.7 billion KRW. It is a building with 2 basement floors and 4 above-ground floors, a building area of 1,745㎡, and a total floor area of 11,155㎡. It offers 165 parking spaces and is located in an area where residential and commercial zones are active, resulting in excellent accessibility for residents and a significant increase in usage, receiving favorable evaluations.
