KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Goes on Spring Outing with Visually Impaired People

KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters and KT Labor Union Honam Regional Headquarters announced on the 16th that they held a spring outing event exploring famous spots with visually impaired people in celebration of Disability Day.

This event was organized to provide visually impaired individuals, who usually have few opportunities to go on outings, with a chance to experience the beauty of nature and create special memories away from their daily lives.

The visually impaired participants enjoyed the refreshing spring breeze while crossing the sea on the Mokpo Marine Cable Car, and at Gatbawi Park, they experienced the scents and sounds of nature under the guidance of activity assistants, fully enjoying experiences that are usually difficult to access.

A visually impaired person who rode the cable car for the first time said, “It felt amazing, as if flying over the sea,” and added, “This trip was a special time to have new experiences and feel the warm energy of spring.”
