National Gwangju Science Museum Hosts the 5th Artificial Intelligence Convergence Concert

The National Gwangju Science Museum will hold the "5th Artificial Intelligence Convergence Concert" as part of the "Artificial Intelligence Odyssey" project to promote AI science culture dissemination at 1:30 PM on the 20th in the Main Building Imagination Hall.

The "Artificial Intelligence Convergence Concert" is a new format program that combines lectures on artificial intelligence with cultural and artistic performances. Marking its 5th year, the event has been converted into a free event this year, enhancing the quality of performances to present to citizens.

The first part of the program offers an interesting time listening to "AI-composed music vs. human-composed music," where attendees try to guess which piece was composed by AI. Along with the fun of identifying AI-composed music, a high-quality classical performance by the Gwangju Cello Orchestra is also planned.

The second part features a lecture themed "Artificial Intelligence Approaching Our Side." It reviews the history of the Industrial Revolution, explores the values humans must uphold, and provides a special time to resolve curiosities about the rapidly changing future AI world influenced by AI integrated into our daily lives, starting with chatGPT.

Dr. Lee Je-hyun, the lecturer, currently serves as the Head of the Energy AI and Computational Science Division at the Korea Institute of Energy Research and actively communicates with citizens through lectures.

Joo Yoo-ra, Senior Researcher of the Science Culture Office at the National Gwangju Science Museum, stated, "We hope this concert, which fuses artificial intelligence and art, will be a creative time to imagine coexistence with AI embedded in various fields of our daily lives."
