Kyung Gye-hyun Visits Taiwan QCT and Others to Discuss HBM Business

Kyung Kye-hyun, President of Samsung Electronics Device Solutions (DS) Division, visited the headquarters of Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT) in Taoyuan, Taiwan. It is reported that they discussed AI high-bandwidth memory (HBM) business and other topics.

According to industry sources on the 16th, President Kyung visited QCT headquarters the previous day along with Lee Jung-bae, President of the DS Division Memory Business Unit, and other executives. They met with executives including Liang Cizhen, Vice Chairman of Quanta Group.

They toured the 5G Open Lab jointly established by QCT and Intel and reviewed QCT's latest server and data center solutions.

QCT is a subsidiary of Quanta Computer, a Taiwanese AI server manufacturer. In 2022, it supplied LG CNS with the 5G specialized network solution 'Omnipod Enterprise 5G'.

President Kyung also showed interest in cooperation in the fields of AI servers and HBM used in AI servers.
