Seodaemun-gu, Free Vehicle Inspection on the 21st

Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) will conduct free vehicle inspections in the first half of 2024 in collaboration with the "Seoul Automobile Specialized Maintenance Business Association Seodaemun Branch" to ensure safe vehicle use for residents.

The target vehicles are passenger cars, vans, and cargo trucks under 1 ton. The inspection will take place on Sunday, the 21st of this month, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the parking lot of Hansung High School in Bukahyeon-dong (near Exit 1 of Ahyeon Station) using a drive-thru (driver onboard) method.

On the day, about 40 professional maintenance technicians from the branch will participate to check the steering wheel, brakes, battery, tires, lighting devices, cooling system, and more. They will also check and refill various oils such as engine oil, washer fluid, and antifreeze, and replace fuses and bulbs if necessary. Minor issues will be addressed immediately on-site, and for cases requiring detailed inspection, diagnosis and maintenance consultation for the problematic parts will be provided.

Lee Seongheon, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, expressed gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the meaningful volunteer work of our district’s professional maintenance technicians, residents will be able to use their vehicles safely."
