Donated to Goodwill Store

Daesang announced on the 16th that it donated Cheongjeongwon products to Goodwill Store to help the economic independence of people with disabilities.

Goodwill Store is a vocational rehabilitation facility that prioritizes hiring people with disabilities to support their economic independence as part of the 'Happy Commute' project by the social welfare corporation Miral Welfare Foundation. Starting with the Miral Songpa branch in 2011, it currently provides jobs to over 300 people with disabilities across 29 branches nationwide.

Since February until this month, Daesang donated a total of over 1,100 Cheongjeongwon products, including gochujang and canola oil, to the Goodwill Store Miral Dobong branch in three installments. Additionally, during March, Daesang conducted a 'Unused Clothing and Goods Donation' campaign targeting group company employees, collecting about 1,800 donated items such as clothing, daily necessities, and toys, which were delivered to Goodwill Store on the 15th. Starting with this donation, Daesang plans to continuously provide products and employee-donated goods to Goodwill Store throughout this year.

Kim Kyung-sook, Head of Daesang's ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Management Office, said, "Through Daesang's continuous donation activities, we can support the economic independence of people with disabilities working at Goodwill Store and contribute to resource recycling. We will continue to carry out various ESG management activities that can grow together with marginalized neighbors."
