Cheongwadae Website Completely Revamped... Chinese and Japanese Language Services Added

Reservation and Cheongwadae Information on One Page

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Cheongwadae Foundation will completely revamp the Cheongwadae website "Cheongwadae, to the People" on the 16th. The update aims to enhance convenience for domestic and international users through various services.

The most noticeable change is the addition of Japanese and Chinese language services. In response to the recent increase in foreign visitors, these languages will be added to the existing Korean and English services. An English reservation system will also be introduced, allowing foreigners to make reservations with a simple email verification.

A Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism official explained, "The number of foreign visitors to Cheongwadae in the first quarter of this year (39,807) has increased more than 2.5 times compared to the same period last year. With a continuous upward trend expected, we focused on enhancing convenience for foreigners."

The usage method will also become much simpler. The reservation function and Cheongwadae information will be integrated on a single page. Visitors will be able to make reservations for cultural events held at Cheongwadae directly.

The official added, "We have included virtual reality (VR) 360-degree content of the interiors of the Main Building, the State Guest House, and the Press Center, as well as detailed information on the use of convenience facilities, allowing people to vividly explore Cheongwadae online."
