The traditional markets visited include Sagang Market, Baran Market, Joam Market, and Namyang Market, and seasonal experience programs vary from ATV riding, marine cable car rides, to horseback riding experiences. Detailed travel schedules can be found on the KORAIL travel product website.

The train boarding stations are Seoul Station or Daejeon Station, and after arriving at Suwon Station by train, participants transfer to the Hwaseong City Tour bus to visit the scheduled courses with a guide.

The program is operated in connection with the Paldo Market Tourism Train project supported by the Small Enterprise and Market Service under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and participants receive 20,000 KRW for train fare and 10,000 KRW in Onnuri gift certificates.

If you wish to participate, you can make a reservation in advance on the Let's KORAIL travel product website and pay a designated participation fee. For schedule inquiries, contact the Hwaseong Sustainable Development Council, the organization operating the Hwaseong City Tour.

Meanwhile, Hwaseong City and KORAIL signed a business agreement in 2022 to revitalize local tourism, creating travel courses for passengers using the railway and operating various projects to promote local community tourism.

Kim Kyungha, Director of Hwaseong City Tourism Promotion Division, said, "Through this city tour program linked with KORAIL, we will be able to showcase the diverse charms of Hwaseong City, including traditional markets, to a larger number of tourists."
