KOTRA Opens Emergency Consultation Desk for Corporate Difficulties Related to Middle East Situation

Strengthening Counseling Center, Opening Dedicated Consultation Window
Providing Real-Time Local Trend Information on Homepage

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 15th that it has strengthened the 'Middle East Crisis Emergency Response Team' and opened an 'Emergency Corporate Consultation Desk' to promptly respond to the 'Middle East crisis' caused by Iran's airstrikes on Israel.

KOTRA established the emergency consultation desk in response to the rapidly changing geopolitical risks in the Middle East, including Israel, which may cause business difficulties such as logistics and transportation disruptions and project delays.


Additionally, KOTRA is disseminating information monitored in real-time 24/7 by the Middle East regional headquarters and 13 trade centers located in the Middle East through a dedicated bulletin board on the KOTRA website. The dedicated bulletin board can be accessed via the KOTRA Overseas Economic Information Dream site.


Lee Ji-hyung, Head of KOTRA's Economic and Trade Cooperation Headquarters and Chief of the Middle East Crisis Emergency Response Team, emphasized, "It is necessary to proactively respond to the difficulties our companies may face amid the escalating Middle East situation," adding, "KOTRA will continue to closely monitor the situation in the Middle East and provide necessary support without hesitation."
