Lock&Lock Wins 'Grand Prize and Main Prize' at Red Dot Design Award

Lock&Lock announced on the 15th that it won the Grand Prize and the Main Prize in the Cookware category at the 2024 Red Dot Award.

The Red Dot Award, which began in Germany in 1955, is considered one of the world's top three design awards alongside the iF Design Award and the American IDEA.

The Grand Prize-winning product, the ‘Barohan-kki Convenient Cooking Container,’ was praised for its modern and sophisticated design. It features naturally curved wings on the silicone cap, allowing users to safely hold the hot container even after cooking. Optimized for microwave use, the product has seen increased orders as demand for ready-to-eat meals grows. It is available in three sizes?500㎖, 1.5ℓ, and 1.6ℓ?to accommodate various types of convenient meals. When cooking with the lid’s steam hole opened, steam is released, enhancing the quality of the dish.

The Main Prize-winning ‘Lock&Lock Suit Mellow’ is made of enamel material coated with a vitreous glaze on the surface. Its design combines soft curved shapes with warm colors and wooden handles. It offers fast heat conduction and excellent heat retention, maintaining the taste and temperature of food for a long time.

Alongside the Lock&Lock Suit Mellow, the ‘Suit Stainless Steel Frying Pan’ also won the Main Prize. Its handle is designed in a circular shape to provide a stable grip. Made from hygienic STS304 material and coated with ILAG’s premium coating, it combines the advantages of both stainless steel pans and coated pans.
