Daegu City Happiness Promotion Social Service Center (Director Jeong Soon-cheon) has appointed 8 'Happiness Promotion Ambassadors.'
Daegu Happiness Promotion Center plans to break the stereotype that 'public institution ambassadors = celebrities' and inspire citizens with special stories of ordinary people living in the same era.

The newly appointed 'Happiness Promotion Ambassadors' were recommended by the lifecycle teams within the Daegu Happiness Promotion Center. They include Hyun Jeong-hwa, President of the Korea Popular Music Therapy Association; Cheon Do-hee, a literacy education learner; Song Ha-young, CEO of Amu-ui Bang; Kwon Ji-hye, student at Unam High School; Bae Ji-sook, CEO of Ainari; Lee Jong-hwa, CEO of C-Plus; Kim Hyang-sook, gender impact assessment consultant; and Kwon Ha-yeon, President of the Daegu Multicultural Instructor Association.
Hyun Jeong-hwa, President of the Korea Popular Music Therapy Association, is well known as a 'song instructor who makes others' lives happy' through a new lecture method combining popular music and psychology.
Meanwhile, late-blooming literacy learner Cheon Do learned to write at the Daegu Happiness Promotion Center. Her poem "To Find My Husband's Name," written in memory of her husband who passed away early, gained recognition by winning the UNESCO Korea Committee Secretary-General Award.
Song Ha-young, CEO of Amu-ui Bang, succeeded in starting a business with the support of the youth challenge support project operated by the Daegu Happiness Promotion Center Youth Center and actively continues mentoring local youth preparing for startups.
Ainari, operated by CEO Bae Ji-sook, is known as a representative family-friendly certified company in the region, with a management policy emphasizing work-life balance, resulting in high employee satisfaction.
Lee Jong-hwa, CEO of C-Plus, a caregiver matching platform, is a father of septuplets (including a fetus) and engages in various social activities to promote the importance of family and the joy of childbirth.
Additionally, gender impact consultant Kim Hyang-sook and multicultural instructor association President Kwon Ha-yeon also contribute actively to the local community.
They will share their unique experiences and work with the Daegu Happiness Promotion Center to promote lifecycle projects and strive for two-way communication with social service users.
Jeong Soon-cheon, Director of the Daegu Happiness Promotion Center, said, “Please show great interest in the special and touching stories of the Happiness Promotion Ambassadors, who are ordinary people rather than famous celebrities,” and added, “We will continue to develop various promotional methods to provide social services without blind spots.”
