KB Securities Holds '2024 Gongmoju Super Week' Event

KB Securities announced on the 15th that it will hold the '2024 IPO Super Week' event ahead of the subscription for public offering shares, including HD Hyundai Marine Solutions, the largest IPO of the first half of this year with an expected market capitalization of around 3 trillion KRW, as well as Jeil M&S and Mintech.

KB Securities Holds '2024 Gongmoju Super Week' Event

The subscription schedule starts with Jeil M&S, a company related to secondary battery materials, parts, and equipment, on the 18th and 19th, followed by Mintech, a company specializing in electric vehicle battery diagnostics, on the 23rd and 24th, and finally HD Hyundai Marine Solutions, which covers everything from eco-friendly ship retrofitting to comprehensive solutions, on the 25th and 26th.

Customers who participate at least once in the online subscription for public offering shares through KB Securities by the 30th can join the 2024 IPO Super Week and receive stock coupons worth up to 100,000 KRW through a lottery (event registration is required).

KB Securities will draw a total of 105,600 customers eligible for the event to receive overseas stock coupons of 50,000 KRW (100 people), 30,000 KRW (500 people), 10,000 KRW (5,000 people), and 3,000 KRW (100,000 people). Additionally, among those who use the overseas stock coupons within the validity period, 5,600 customers will be drawn again to receive domestic stock coupons of 50,000 KRW (100 people), 30,000 KRW (500 people), and 20,000 KRW (5,000 people).

If new KB Securities customers (those who open their first account with the company after January 1, 2024) or dormant customers (those with an average total asset balance of less than 1 million KRW over the past year as of the end of the month before the purchase date) are allocated public offering shares, they will also be offered a special fixed-rate issuance note product (interest rate to be announced later). This product provides stable returns tailored to the customer's desired investment period for lump sums such as public offering refunds.

Issuance notes can only be issued by securities firms designated as mega investment banks (IBs) with a capital of over 4 trillion KRW. KB Securities issues these notes based on its high credit rating (credit rating AA+, as of April 5, 2024, by Korea Ratings), and currently, only four securities firms including KB Securities can issue them domestically.

Kim Young-il, Head of M-able Land Tribe, said, "This April, due to the listing of HD Hyundai Marine Solutions, the largest IPO this year with an expected market capitalization of around 3 trillion KRW, investor interest is expected to be very high. We hope that through this event, customers' interest will expand beyond just public offering subscriptions to various products including domestic and overseas stocks and financial products, leading to effective investments."

If you do not yet have a KB Securities account for public offering subscriptions and event participation, you can easily open an account non-face-to-face through KB Securities' mobile trading system (MTS) KB M-able (M-able) or M-able mini without visiting a branch. In particular, non-face-to-face account opening is possible even on the subscription day, allowing immediate participation in the subscription and enabling convenient investment even with a busy schedule.
