Busan Gijang-gun and Lotte Mall Dongbusan Branch Promote 'Gijanggage' Flea Market for Win-Win with Local Small Businesses

Busan Gijang-gun and Lotte Mall Dongbusan Branch (Manager Yoon Hyung-jin) are holding a flea market called ‘Gijanggage’ for five days from the 10th to the 14th to revitalize the local economy and coexist with local small business owners.

This event was prepared as part of local coexistence activities, where local governments, companies, and related organizations join forces to provide sales channels for local small business owners and serve as a platform for regional coexistence. ‘Bogogage’ is the organizer, and Lotte Mall Dongbusan Branch, Gijang-gun Small Business Association, and Gijang-gun are jointly promoting the event.


To successfully hold the flea market event, ‘Lotte Mall Dongbusan Branch’ provided participation support funds to small business owners, and the organizer ‘Bogogage’ supported all costs including the self-produced Gijanggage logo and operating expenses.


Also, the ‘Gijang-gun Small Business Association’ formed a total of about 10 participating companies by accepting applications from local small business owners over the past month, and ‘Gijang-gun’ took the lead in policy support for small business owners by providing goods to the participating companies.


The event features sales booths offering food items such as seaweed, kelp, and fresh tofu, along with various crafts including air fresheners, pearl jewelry, and accessories. Additionally, diverse experience spaces such as plaster painting and handicraft workshops are prepared.


County Governor Jeong Jong-bok visited the event site to encourage the participating companies and said, “We will continue to promote various policies for mutual growth by bringing together local governments, companies, and local small business owners to revitalize the local economy.”
