Lee Gi-jae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, attended the large-scale job matching event, the 'GOOD JOB Yangcheon Employment Fair,' held at Haenuri Town Art Hall on the morning of the 12th and toured the venue.
On this day, the employment fair provided an 'all-in-one service' including on-site interviews, one-on-one employment counseling, and job seeker recruitment interviews for about 200 job seekers, including youth and middle-aged applicants, with 20 small and strong companies from various industries participating.
The recruitment-linked 'on-site interviews' involving 20 hiring companies were divided into Part 1 (10 a.m.) for middle-aged applicants and Part 2 (2 p.m.) for youth. In particular, a 'Job Talk Concert' was held in the afternoon, where HR managers from Doosan, Korea Airports Corporation, and Korea Water Resources Corporation visited the site to introduce companies and job roles and share interview tips.
Lee Gi-jae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, said, "I hope this employment fair, which serves as a bridge between employers and job seekers, will ease the employment burden of our unemployed middle-aged and youth and become an opportunity to build confidence." He added, "With the belief that the best welfare is employment, we will do our best to create high-quality and stable jobs."
