Daegu Dong-A Department Store Shopping Branch and Suseong Branch announced on the 12th that they will hold the ‘Shopping Branch and Suseong Branch 14th Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival’ on the 17th to celebrate the 14th anniversary after being acquired by E-Land Retail.
The 14th anniversary thanksgiving festival will be held for one day on the 17th, featuring appreciation promotions, special events, and brand DAY, as well as theme/floor/brand-specific appreciation events, limited price/quantity special product sales, and a special BIG event lasting 3 to 7 days starting from the 17th. Additional promotions include 80~10% extra OFF on existing product prices (excluding some items), gift certificates based on purchase amounts, limited price/quantity offers, and appreciation/discount events for customers purchasing from certain brands or using specific cards.
Looking at the main events by theme/floor/brand within the branches, the first highlight is the one-day-only events and promotions on the 17th.
Among the one-day events, the Lucky Box event is by far the most popular among customers. On the 17th, the Shopping Branch will offer 1,000 lucky boxes, and the Suseong Branch will offer 500 lucky boxes. The participation method is the same for both branches: advance reservations will be accepted via KakaoTalk on the 16th, and on the day of the event, customers who purchase over 30,000 KRW will receive lucky box tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Lucky Box prizes include E-Land gift certificates worth 300,000 KRW, Kensington Hotel & Resort 1-night stay vouchers, and E-Land gift certificates worth 10,000, 30,000, 50,000, and 100,000 KRW. The Shopping Branch has prepared a total of 1,000 prizes, and the Suseong Branch has prepared 500 various prizes. In addition, there will be gift certificate and gift giveaways by floor, brand, and eligible card, a 20% brand day event on all E-Land Retail in-house brand products, brand days with discounts up to 70~20% at some brands on all floors, a one-day special BIG event with limited price/product/quantity, and special pricing events on the top 10 products, all held for one day only.
Secondly, the main events running from the 17th to the 23rd for 7 days will be held simultaneously at the Shopping Branch and Suseong Branch, including spring outing coordination exhibitions featuring Rodem Girls, J-Beam, Milibam, The Day Girl, Roem Girls, and others.
At the Shopping Branch, events include uniform price sales on Elcanto and Esquire shoes and handbags, casual and sports spring/summer super special sales featuring Polham, Guess, Nike, Crocs, and Hangten, special clearance sales on men’s, golf, and outdoor wear with brands like Basso Homme, Allzen, Kolping, Phantom, and Louis Castel, popular women’s clothing exhibitions with Gibikiis, Deco, Valencia, The Izzat, Coin Coz, and overseas children’s special sales featuring Polo Kids, Levi’s Kids, Lacoste Kids, Hazzys Kids, and Adidas Kids.
At Daegu Suseong Branch, there will be a luxury primo overseas brand special invitation exhibition featuring Gucci, Burberry, Ferragamo, Prada, and others, famous imported brand sales up to 50% with Zara, Riga Mopi, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Theory, and others, golf wear customer invitation sales with Renoma, Disney, Rings, Mako, Cutter & Buck, Pasadi Golf, an S Market popular brand sale up to 80% off, casual and women’s spring/summer clearance sales with ENC, Bang Bang, Indigo Bank, Melbon, Arte, and special summer product sales with Milibam, Topten Kids, Hangten Kids, Chic, Cocorita, and Selden.
Additionally, for Modern House at both the Shopping Branch and Suseong Branch, there will be a one-day event on the 17th where 30 limited lucky boxes can be purchased for 9,900 KRW with gifts worth over 15,000 KRW, and gift giveaways based on purchase amounts of 50,000, 100,000, and 150,000 KRW. From the 17th to the 19th, Modern House at both branches will hold a brand day with 10% off furniture (excluding some items) and 20% off the entire store, along with E-Land gift certificates given for furniture purchases of 200,000/400,000/600,000/800,000/1,000,000 KRW in amounts of 10,000/20,000/30,000/40,000/50,000 KRW respectively.
For the food halls at the Shopping Branch and Suseong Branch, from the 17th to the 19th, there will be limited price and quantity sales on Australian clean beef LA ribs, Seongju honey melons, domestic cleaned squid, imperfect large apples, Zespri gold kiwis, domestic freshwater eels, Jindo live abalones, and domestic boiled octopus. From the 17th to the 21st, there will be limited quantity discounts up to 50% on first-grade Korean beef, as well as limited price and quantity sales on tomatoes, Ecuadorian bananas, Iroun rice, antibiotic-free fresh eggs, and spring outing camping essentials. From the 17th for 7 days, there will be a first-grade Korean pork barbecue event, off-price sales, and a health promotion event for the April seasonal change.
