Guro-gu, Recruiting Participants for Public-Private Partnership Enhancement Training... Total 7 Sessions from May 2 to 23
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) is recruiting participants for the "2024 Guro-gu Public-Private Cooperation Enhancement Training" to promote the activation of public-private governance.
Previously, resident participation budget education and governance expert education were conducted separately. Starting this year, the district has integrated the two trainings into the "Public-Private Cooperation Enhancement Training" to reduce overlapping courses and operate them systematically.
The training consists of a total of 7 sessions throughout May: ▲ May 2 - Special Lecture by a Guest Speaker (Proactive and Innovative Administration) ▲ May 7 - Understanding Public-Private Governance Policies ▲ May 9 - Special Lecture by a Guest Speaker (Resolving Public-Private Conflicts) ▲ May 11 - Discussion and Public Forum Practice ▲ May 13 - Understanding the Resident Participation Budget System ▲ May 17 - Participating in and Reviewing the Resident Participation Budget System ▲ May 23 - Sharing Cases of the Resident Participation Budget System.
In particular, the May 2 special lecture will be delivered by Kim Seon-tae, a public relations officer from Chungju City, who will teach 250 residents and public officials ways to communicate and collaborate effectively.
Any interested individuals, including Guro-gu residents and local workers, can apply online (via Naver Form) or in person (at the Policy Advisor's Office on the 4th floor of Guro-gu Office).
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 40 participants per session, starting from the 15th of this month until one week before each lecture. The training is free of charge, and a certificate of completion will be issued to those who attend at least 5 sessions or 11 hours of lectures.

Moon Heon-il, Mayor of Guro-gu, stated, "We hope many residents will participate in this training to learn the necessity of governance and strengthen their capabilities."
