Seunggyo Lee, a master's student in the Department of Chemistry at Chosun University Graduate School, has been selected for the '2024 Ministry of Education Master's Course Student Research Encouragement Fund Support Project.'
This project supports research expenses for master's thesis in the field of science and technology for master's students in STEM fields, and Seunggyo Lee's project titled "Synthesis and Application of Silafluorene-iptycene Derivatives" was selected.
This research aims to develop explosive detection and OLED materials using Silafluorene-iptycene, a silicon compound with optical properties.
Seunggyo Lee stated, "Being selected for this research encouragement fund support project has made more in-depth research possible, and it was achievable thanks to the support and continuous feedback from Professor Hongrae Son," adding, "I will do my best to become an excellent researcher as much as I have received support."
