Mapo-gu, 2024 Civil Defense Unit Leaders Group Training

Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) held the '2024 Civil Defense Captain Group Training' on the afternoon of the 11th at the Mapo-gu Office auditorium.

This group training was conducted for about 260 civil defense captains, starting with the recitation of the civil defense creed, followed by civil defense basics, earthquake and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) training, and first aid education.

Before the training, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said in his greeting, "Civil defense plays a crucial role in protecting residents' lives and property during wartime or disaster crisis situations," adding, "Mapo-gu will do its best to create a safe Mapo 365 days a year together with the civil defense captains."

The '2024 Civil Defense Captain Group Training' will continue for two days until the 12th.
