Posting reports received nationwide on SNS while spreading manipulation claims
Democratic Party raises issues over predicted early voting turnout
Former Future United Party leader Hwang Kyo-ahn claimed that "election fraud has begun to be detected" in the 22nd general election, asserting a theory of vote manipulation. On the election day, the 10th and 11th, Hwang continuously shared reports he received from various regions on his social media service (SNS), stating, "In this general election as well, strange evidence of election fraud will pour out."
Around October last year, Hwang Kyo-ahn, former leader of the Liberty Korea Party, and Min Kyung-wook, former member of the National Assembly, held a press conference at the National Assembly Communication Office, raising suspicions of election fraud in the 21st general election. He claimed, "Many suspicious ballot boxes were found here and there at counting centers nationwide, including Incheon Gyeyang, Seodaemun, and Jongno," adding, "From ballot boxes without any seals attached to those where the seals were removed and reattached." He further stated, "In Namdong-gu, Incheon, ballots of different colors were found; in Jungnang-gu, Daegu, ballot boxes with torn seals and ballots of different sizes were discovered; and in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, a large number of early voting ballots stamped with the Namyangju election official's seal appeared."
Additionally, he claimed that in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, "there were reports of a large number of ballots with blurry printing," and in the Chuncheon counting center in Gangwon Province, "ballot boxes were taken outside during counting and then brought back to pour out the ballots."
Earlier, on the 8th, Hwang posted a video on his Facebook showing the insertion of out-of-district early voting ballot boxes at the Eunpyeong District Election Commission in Seoul, where allegations of 'early voting manipulation' had been raised. He also raised suspicions of 'inflated early voting numbers' based on discrepancies between the number of voters counted by observers at some early voting stations and the number recorded in the election commission's system. Moreover, he pointed out issues such as the change in the color of the ballot box seals from the usual blue to a dark gray that made the letters hard to see, and the similarity between the early voting turnout predicted by the Democratic Party and the actual early voting turnout.
Min Kyung-wook, co-representative of the Gagahoho Fair Election Party, is also raising early voting conspiracy theories using the same logic as Hwang. He served as the standing representative of the '4.15 Election Fraud National Struggle Headquarters.' On the 7th, Min claimed on Facebook, "In many places, the number of early voters counted by election observers was found to be inflated by more than 40% compared to the numbers tallied on the election commission's monitor."
Hwang Kyo-ahn's Side: "Lawsuit to Nullify Han Dong-hoon’s Election Must Be Filed"

Hwang, who led the Future United Party as its leader in the 2020 '4.15 General Election,' has claimed election fraud since resigning from his position after the party's crushing defeat on election day.
Regarding the results of the recent April 10 general election, Hwang advised Han Dong-hoon, emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party, saying, "Because there is a fundamental problem beyond our imagination of 'election fraud,' no matter how bad the situation gets, I want to advise you never to work with me."
He continued, "Based on the irregular situations that appeared in this election, the party must actively raise issues," and insisted, "The party should lead a 'lawsuit to nullify the election.'" He emphasized, "From now on, the fight to eradicate 'election fraud' begins," adding, "As a pioneer, I will spare no effort in supporting all know-how to restore our nation's discipline."
