Additional Languages Including Swedish and Romanian to Be Supported Within the Year

Samsung Electronics announced on the 11th that it will expand the supported languages of 'Galaxy AI,' introduced in the 'Galaxy S24 series,' to 16 languages.

Samsung Electronics will add support for three languages?Arabic, Indonesian, and Russian?to 'Galaxy AI' through an update in April. Previously, it supported 13 languages including Korean, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, and Italian.

Additionally, three dialects?Australian English, Hong Kong Chinese, and Canadian French?will also be added.

With this update, users will be able to use features such as 'real-time translation' and 'chat assist' in a total of 16 languages. The newly added languages can be downloaded and used from the language pack menu in the Settings app.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics plans to support languages such as Swedish, Dutch, Romanian, and Turkish through additional updates within the year.

Notae-moon Noh, President of Samsung Electronics MX Division, said, "By expanding the supported languages, we will more quickly realize the global popularization of the Galaxy AI experience," adding, "More users will be able to change the way they experience the world through Galaxy AI."
