Kang Min-guk, the People Power Party candidate for the Jinju-eul electoral district in Gyeongnam, was elected on the 10th.
According to the Central Election Commission, Candidate Kang won the 22nd general election, defeating Han Kyung-ho of the Democratic Party and independent candidate Kim Byung-kyu to secure a seat in the National Assembly.
As of 11:24 PM that day, the vote counting rate in the Jinju-eul electoral district was 89.61%, with the vote shares as follows: Candidate Kang 57.29%, Candidate Han 28.85%, and Candidate Kim 13.85%.
