In the 22nd general election, Choi Hyung-doo, a candidate from the People Power Party seeking re-election, became the National Assembly member for the Changwon Masanhappo electoral district in Gyeongnam on the 10th.
According to the Central Election Commission, as of 11 PM, candidate Choi Hyung-doo won against Lee Ok-seon of the Democratic Party of Korea with a vote difference of 66.50% to 33.49%.
As of 11:01 PM that day, the vote counting rate was 79.62%, and the vote difference between the two candidates was 27,199 votes.
