Nutri announced on the 9th that it has obtained Halal certification for its health functional food ‘Ever Collagen Time (finished product)’ and its self-developed functional ingredient ‘Low Molecular Collagen Peptide.’ Nutri plans to target the K-inner beauty market for Muslim consumers in Southeast Asia and worldwide, while strengthening its position in the inner beauty segment within the Halal market.
‘Halal’ is an Arabic term meaning ‘permitted’ or ‘lawful.’ ‘Halal certification’ refers to a system that grants certification only to foods slaughtered, processed, and handled according to Islamic law. Muslims can only consume Halal foods that have received such certification. Halal certification is essential for market entry.
Nutri Ever Collagen contains low molecular collagen peptide developed as a proprietary material, which is rapidly absorbed by the body through patented enzymatic hydrolysis technology, promoting skin regeneration and elasticity. It also has the function of protecting the skin from strong ultraviolet rays, making it expected to shine even more in regions such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
A Nutri official said, "Obtaining Halal certification by fully meeting strict Islamic laws is a very meaningful achievement for local market penetration," adding, "Through entry into the Halal market, we will be able to provide consumers in Islamic countries including Southeast Asia and the Middle East with more diverse and reliable products."
