Gwangju National Science Museum Recruiting Members for Youth Public Relations Communication Group 'Luchesta'

The National Gwangju Science Museum is recruiting the 8th Lucestar group (100 members), who will serve as youth science culture promotion communicators and science communicators, until the 21st.


Gwangju National Science Museum Recruiting Members for Youth Public Relations Communication Group 'Luchesta'

Lucestar, meaning "shining star," started in 2017 and is now in its 8th term this year, establishing itself as a representative youth external activity in the region.


Any youth in the Honam area (from 4th grade elementary to high school) who love science and have a passion for sharing knowledge can apply. The activity period is seven months, from June to December this year. A total of 100 members will be recruited. Main activities include ▲participation in science museum exhibitions, education events, and promotional activities ▲science experiment and content creation activities to spread science culture ▲participation in various contests.


Lucestar members can enjoy benefits such as ▲free use of the National Gwangju Science Museum's permanent exhibition hall and special exhibitions (once a month, up to 3 accompanying persons) ▲free use of one-day educational programs (once a month, limited to members). Additionally, ▲volunteer activity records are recognized ▲awards for outstanding members at year-end (1 Minister of Science and ICT Award, 1 Gwangju Mayor Award, 10 National Gwangju Science Museum Director Awards) and other external activity achievements are acknowledged.
