Serving robot company VD Company is implementing a support project worth 6 billion KRW to help automate small business stores.
VD Company announced on the 9th that it will carry out the 'Unlimited Smart Store' support project together with Hana Financial Group and the Korea Food Service Industry Association. The project provides automation solutions for stores, worth up to 6 billion KRW, targeting small business owners operating food service establishments with fewer than 10 employees.
Small business owners who want to automate their stores can receive support without any special conditions. Even those who have already received support from the Small Enterprise and Market Service's 'Smart Store' project can apply for additional implementation if desired.
This project offers unlimited support for the serving robot 'Pudubot' and the table order system 'VD Menu.' Pudubot support is 11.56 million KRW per unit, and a free after-sales management program is provided for three years. VD Menu support is 144,000 KRW per unit, and users can also access a package of four types of store automation software. VD Company expects to quickly improve small business owners' store operation environments by installing the systems within a week after application.
Ham Pan-sik, CEO of VD Company, said, "We hope many small business owners will experience store automation solutions such as serving robots and table orders through this project," adding, "VD Company will continue to lead technology research and infrastructure distribution to promote digital transformation in neighborhood commercial districts and strengthen the competitiveness of small business owners."
