It has been revealed that the doctor who diagnosed former U.S. President Donald Trump as having excellent cognitive abilities last year is a member of a golf club owned by Trump.

On the 6th (local time), the U.S. daily The Washington Post (WP) reported that Bruce Aaronwald (64), who assessed Trump's health, has been a long-time member of Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Another golf club member also witnessed Aaronwald spending time with Trump and his family when they visited the golf club. Aaronwald, an osteopath specializing in treating broken or dislocated bones, is from New Jersey and is not nationally well-known, the media reported.
Last November, former President Trump released a health certificate written by Aaronwald. At that time, President Joe Biden was confusing famous American singers 'Taylor Swift' and 'Britney Spears,' reigniting debates about his age, and the health certificate of Trump, who is four years younger, was made public. The certificate stated that Trump is "very healthy and possesses exceptional cognitive abilities."
However, the certificate did not include specific examination results such as blood pressure or cholesterol levels that could objectively assess Trump's health status. It did not even disclose his weight. Aaronwald stated, "There is no reason to release more detailed information about Trump's health before the election."
Referring to the certificate, Aaronwald told the media, "There is no need to release any other certificates besides the one Trump recently made public," emphasizing, "He is physically strong, cognitively sharp, and overall in excellent health." Former President Trump also told the media that Aaronwald has been his doctor since 2021 and described him as "one of the best doctors in New Jersey, perhaps in the entire country."
Meanwhile, former President Trump will face off against President Joe Biden again in the U.S. presidential election this coming November.
