Promises with farmer organizations also continued. With the Han Nongyeon Naju City Federation, he agreed on securing the sustainability of Korean agriculture and rural areas amid rapid economic and social changes by fostering successor agricultural management organizations, and decided to work together on revising the law concerning the fostering and support of successor farmers and young farmers.

Next, with the Jeonnam Eco-friendly Agriculture Association, they agreed to expand eco-friendly direct payments, implement an integrated certification management system for achieving carbon neutrality, raise the purchase price of public stockpiled eco-friendly rice, provide national support for eco-friendly school and public meal expenses, and establish an integrated support center for eco-friendly agriculture and operate a manager system to spread the value of eco-friendly agriculture.

In the afternoon, the venue moved to the Hwasun Livelihood Campaign Office to continue policy agreements. With the National Federation of Basic Income Movement for Rural and Fishing Villages, they pledged to faithfully realize the basic income for rural and fishing village residents, which provides a certain amount of income regularly and individually to all residents living in rural and fishing areas to achieve balanced national development and overcome regional extinction.

Finally, with the National Village Making Network and the Jeonnam Village Activists Association, they agreed to realize resident sovereignty and local autonomy by ▲establishing a legal foundation ▲creating and operating an integrated policy committee to foster an integrated policy environment ▲forming and operating a policy council to implement policy tasks ▲and jointly cooperating and practicing in all fields of village making.

Candidate Shin Jeong-hoon said, “Until the end of the election campaign, I made efforts to meet and communicate with various people and listen to even one more valuable suggestion,” adding, “I will always listen to the difficulties felt on the ground and the voices of the parties involved, and do my best to realize them through policy, budget, legislation, and other parliamentary activities.”
