Jeju Fire Department Opens 'Wishes for Jeju119 Board' on Website

The communication channel between Jeju Fire Department and Jeju residents has been expanded, enabling more active promotion of customized fire safety policies tailored to local conditions.

The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Fire Safety Headquarters announced on the 8th that it has opened and started operating the "Wishes for Jeju 119" bulletin board on the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters website to actively reflect residents' voices in fire safety policies.

This bulletin board was established to promote fire safety policies that meet the needs of residents, enhance Jeju fire safety policies from the residents' perspective, and foster innovation by activating communication with residents.

Any Jeju resident can freely submit their opinions, and the received opinions will be reviewed by the relevant department and a response will be posted within 10 days.

Reviewed opinions will be reflected in future work plans and policies, and if improvements or supplements are needed, follow-up measures such as countermeasures will be taken.

Gominja, head of the Fire Safety Headquarters, said, "Through the opening of this bulletin board, we will listen to the voices of residents and prepare fire safety policies suitable for Jeju," adding, "We will strive to provide high-quality fire safety services to residents by promoting change and innovation through open communication."
