150,000 People Gather at 'Spring Flower Festival' Held Around Former Gyeonggi Provincial Government Building

More than 150,000 people attended the spring flower festival held by Gyeonggi Province from the 5th to the 7th at the former Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office area.


The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization offered a variety of attractions and activities at this festival. First, through the operation of the "Visible Radio" where spring visitors participated, various stories were introduced and the atmosphere of the site was conveyed in real time, making it a communicative local festival.

Furthermore, as part of an eco-friendly festival, the event was operated without trash bins and a campaign was conducted, resulting in a significant reduction in waste output compared to previous festivals.


A Gyeonggi Province official self-assessed, "This festival was a meaningful event that made us feel the importance of family and the environment even more, as a result of thorough safety management, enjoyment of small but certain happiness culture by families, and preparation as a frugal and environmentally friendly festival."


Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Province holds various events at the former Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office area every season so that residents can participate.
