LG Electronics "8 out of 10 Customers Choose AI WashTower and WashCombo"

LG Electronics announced on the 8th that this year, 8 out of 10 customers who purchased a washing machine or dryer at LG Best Shop bought a 'combined washer-dryer' that handles both washing and drying in a single product.

LG Electronics first launched the combined product 'Tromm Objet Collection WashTower' in Korea in 2020. In the first year of its release, combined products accounted for about 40% of the total domestic sales of LG Electronics washing machines and dryers. As the WashTower gained popularity, the share expanded to about 70% last year. After launching another combined product, the 'Tromm Objet Collection WashCombo,' last month, the sales share of combined products increased further to 77%.

The WashCombo is a product that completes drying without having to remove the laundry by simply pressing the start button once. The WashCombo has the advantage of being easy to incorporate into interior design due to its compact size. Additionally, a 4kg capacity pulsator washing machine called 'MiniWash' can be installed at the bottom, allowing the drum washing machine, dryer, and MiniWash to be used as a '3-in-1.' The MiniWash is a feature exclusive to LG Electronics products. It was designed to allow delicate clothes, underwear, and baby clothes to be washed separately while washing and drying. LG Electronics reported that 7 out of 10 customers who purchased the WashCombo also bought the MiniWash together.

Also, both the WashTower and WashCombo are equipped with LG Electronics' exclusive 'AI DD Motor.' The AI analyzes the weight, moisture, and material of the laundry loaded by the customer and washes and dries using the optimal motion that protects the fabric among the six motions unique to LG Electronics' washing and drying methods.
