Cherry Blossom Festival with Flowers 'Eunpyeong's Spring' Successfully Concluded

Eunpyeong-gu Bulkwangcheon Cherry Blossom Festival Held During Full Bloom Period

Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that the Bulkwangcheon Cherry Blossom Festival "Spring of Eunpyeong," held over three days from the 4th to the 6th, concluded successfully with 150,000 visitors.

During the festival, related organizations within the district, the Small Business Association, and youth centers operated experience booths along Bulkwangcheon Stream, featuring cherry blossoms. Additionally, various food trucks and resting areas were provided for residents enjoying the cherry blossom festival.

On the second day, traditional cultural and artistic performances such as Cheoyongmu, Cheongomu media art, and a performance by Korean traditional musician Nam Sang-il took place. On the third day, there was a "Yun Dong-ju Story and Poetry Recital with Choi Tae-sung," along with performances by invited singers including Kim Bum-soo, Jin Sung, Haiki, and Coyote.

In particular, the district conducted an "Early Voting Encouragement Campaign" in connection with the cherry blossom festival. During the festival, residents who completed early voting were provided with photo files taken at the cherry blossom photo zone through the "Cherry Blossom General Election Photo Studio."

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, "Despite various inconveniences such as traffic control and noise during the festival period, we sincerely thank everyone for their generous understanding and for residents maintaining order. We also sincerely thank the related organizations and Eunpyeong residents who actively cooperated to ensure the festival was held safely and successfully."
