[Harumanbo] "Walk the Cherry Blossom Path Illuminated by Landscape Lighting"... 'Seoul Dullegil 2.0' Course 14

This is a course of about 10.2 km starting from Guil Station on Seoul Subway Line 1 and walking to the southern end of Gayang Bridge. It takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes. It is the fourteenth course among the 21 courses of 'Seoul Dulle-gil 2.0,' which Seoul City officially operates from April.

This course is characterized by a flat terrain throughout, making it an easy trek. It offers a chance to enjoy Seoul's streams and the Han River, differentiating it from other Seoul Dulle-gil courses that are mostly forest trails. Numerous exercise facilities, walking paths, convenience facilities, and rest areas are located throughout. Especially, the Anyangcheon Trail is adorned with spring flowers in spring, allowing walkers to enjoy a shower of white cherry blossoms.

The departure point is Exit 1 of Guil Station. Anyangcheon is one of the tributaries of the Han River. It originates in Uiwang City, Gyeonggi Province, and merges with Wanggokcheon, Ojeoncheon, Hakuicheon, Sanboncheon, and Suamcheon. From Guro Station on the Gyeongin Line (Anyangcheon Railroad Bridge) to Yeomchang Bridge on Olympic-daero, it is designated as a national river. In Seoul, it serves as a boundary for Yangcheon-gu, Guro-gu, Gangseo-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Geumcheon-gu, and Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province.

Walking along the riverbank, you will come across the 'Anyangcheon Ecological Flower Garden.' The Anyangcheon Ecological Flower Garden is a 6,000㎡ garden located on the right bank floodplain between Anyanggyo Bridge and Baemsoedari Bridge. The area is planted with roses and grass, designed to allow flowers to be seen all year round, and includes amenities for residents such as a rose tunnel and a thatched pavilion.

After passing the fragrance of the garden's flowers, you will soon enter the Anyangcheon embankment path. The Anyangcheon embankment path is one of Seoul's representative cherry blossom spots, with 1,047 king cherry trees planted along a 7 km section. The cherry blossoms reached full bloom on the 3rd, attracting many people for late evening cherry blossom outings.

In particular, Geumcheon-gu in Seoul invested 100 million won this year to install 70 landscape lights over a 150m section from Doksan Footbridge to Anyangcheon Bridge so that people can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night. The landscape lights, which change through seven colors and shine softly, blend naturally with the cherry blossoms, creating a dreamy atmosphere and providing a unique spectacle for visitors to the cherry blossom path. The district plans to continue operating the landscape lighting until October, when many people still take walks even after the cherry blossoms have fallen.

At the end of the course, after crossing Anyangcheon and entering the Han River, you can encounter Hwanggeumnae Neighborhood Park. Hwanggeumnae Neighborhood Park is a 22,002㎡ park located along the Han River. It stretches long along Seoul Olympic-daero, and the side facing Olympic-daero has a high fence. It is well-equipped with sports spaces, restrooms, pavilions, and benches, making it a good place to rest. Strobus pine, ginkgo trees, cherry trees, and zelkova trees are planted, and there is a 700m elastic rubber walking path among the trees, making it convenient for jogging or walking.
